Wasiya is a digital directory and advertising platform for lawyers. We are NOT a lawyer referral service, NOT a law firm, and NOT a prepaid legal services plan. Wasiya does not recommend or endorse any specific lawyer listed.

Information is provided for informational and communication purposes only. We do not interfere in the selection of counsel and do not share in legal fees.

2. Privilege & Relationship Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Your use of this site or sending an inquiry via contact forms DOES NOT create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send confidential or sensitive information through this website.

Communications via the site may NOT be protected by attorney-client privilege. A professional relationship is only established via a formal, written retainer agreement signed between you and the lawyer directly.

3. Lawyer Professional Responsibility

Listed lawyers are solely responsible for ensuring their profiles and advertisements comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct in their respective jurisdictions (e.g., ABA Model Rules or Provincial Law Society rules).

Lawyers must maintain active licensure and professional malpractice insurance where required by law.

4. User Due Diligence

While we require lawyers to verify their identity, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by them. It is the user's responsibility to verify a lawyer's standing with the relevant Bar Association before hiring.

5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wasiya shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of the service or for the professional malpractice of any listed lawyer. Lawyers agree to indemnify Wasiya against any claims arising from their practice.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Wasiya is headquartered. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
